Our Story
Welcome!
Wildside Tattoo was first established by Johnny and Tammy O’Connor in 1998 and is located at 413 1st Ave SW, in downtown Cedar Rapids IA.
Johnny attended DMACC art school in Des Moines from 1990-1992 and picked up his love for art. Tammy is known for running the circus around here and opened her own business, Wildside Bail Bonds.
Tammy and Johnny were married in 2000 and they have pursued their small business endeavors together. From growing a family to a business, they’ve seen nothing but success, with their own daughter Megan as lead piercer.
This small family business is one like no other!
Shop Ammenities
Each artist in our shop has a private studio in order to ensure your complete comfort and privacy. Our goal is to provide you with the most quality experience and to make you feel like one of our family when you’re in our chairs.
Wildside is a cash only establishment, with an ATM on site for your convenience.
We are also wheel chair accessible and service animal friendly, with our own personal ESA, Brad Pitt.
